Amongst the hills, some kilometers from Pachar is the very old temple of Maha Shakti, a rare temple worth a visit.

JAIN TEMPLE
Pachar has a splendid and unique Jain temple. From outside it appears as an unassuming little temple but as one steps inside, the sheer beauty of workmanship engulfs one. The temple is decorated with intricate gold leaf and mirror work as "araish" paintings. Stained glass windows and chandeliers add beauty to the temple. The temple is an excellent example of the 19th century art workmanship.
